Jonathan Drew & Marvin Samel are not your average cigar makers, their story does not start in Cuba, or with fathers in the cigar business. It started with a dream, and through their can-do spirit and never-say-die attitude made Drew Estate one of the premier cigar manufacturers on the planet. The two frat brothers from New York started out small…. Small, as in a 16 square foot retail kiosk in the World Trade Center in NYC. The early days were fraught with peril, you’d think these two frat brothers went to the school of hard knocks. Picking themselves up, dusting themselves off and never backing down would become a trademark in the years to come for them & their fledgling cigar company, Drew Estate.
La Aurora
La Aurora was founded on October 3rd, 1903 by Eduardo León Jimenes, a hard worker man who was son and grandson of tobacco growers, that, without neglecting his family tradition, decided to go a step further with the creation of a cigar brand which he intended to have a global dimension. The founder was then 18 years old, inherited some “tareas” of land and with a reduced roster of six employees, a great enthusiasm and much effort, began to build his dream. Today, more than 113 years later, La Aurora has a presence on the five continents and more than a thousand employees.
Ponce
Ponce is a very new cigar company that debuted in early 2021. Started by Frank Vazquez, a former cigar retailer, with the help of MJ Frias Cigar SRL in the Dominican Republic. These blends are a breath of fresh air…covered in a rustic Mexican San Andres wrapper. Underneath you will find a Broadleaf binder sourced from the USA, with fillers from Nicaragua, USA, and the Dominican Republic. This is a bold and beautiful blend. You will find hearty notes of chocolate, espresso, wood, mixed nuts, and a delicate spice.

Camacho Cigar
Camacho Cigars was founded in 1962 by Simon Camacho and acquired by the Eiroa family in 1995. Tobacco production was then transferred from Nicaragua to Honduras. In 1998, 26-year-old Christian Eiroa became the president of Caribe Imported Cigars, setting his years of experience from the family plantations in Honduras to good use. By the turn of the millennium and with the launch of the Camacho Corojo, the Eiroa family and their ventures had joined the leagues of the leading players in the US cigar industry. In 2008, Camacho and its Rancho Jamastran factory in Danlí, Honduras sold to the Oettinger Davidoff Group, although the Eiroas maintained ownership of the Honduran tobacco fields
